The Beginning

Born in Aberdeen, Scotland I grew up in a lovely little gingerbread house with my younger brother and sister and my mother and father. The local church being at the top of our road and my school being situated at the bottom. Life was good, simple and I was happy. At the age of five I started at the primary school at the bottom of the road and soon met a group of five girls who we would seen be part of the very exclusive 'Funky Monkeys'! Jade, Molly, Megan, Hannah and Kirsten were my best friends and my the age of seven had mapped out our futures. The Funky Monkey's would become a world famous band and we would all live together in the most luxurious penthouse in London. I was a confident child, although quiet and studious in class; I most definitely had a bad side. You see being a part of the girl group meant I enjoyed and encouraged it's exclusivity. Name: Olivia Hope Gardiner D.O.B: 12.10.1999 Height: 5'8 Weight: None of your business! When deciding how to start this post and introduce myself I was unsure of what to include. Now that I have included the basics I can move onto what feels like sharing my life story! Describing yourself is almost impossible. You change, you grow and with every new experience your self description differs. On this blog I will be sharing my story of how a Scottish girl survived expat life, boarding school and everything else along the way! Most would describe expatriate living as fabulous and boarding school as being for privileged upper class children whose parents don't care for them. My life shows these stereotypes as being quite the opposite...
